Those things have not changed.
Yes, you got to be adaptive to the landscape, but some of those old fundamental principles haven't changed.
Well, I think probably one of those is the representation for the athletes.
I mean, the rules were such when I played that I was scared just to even look at an agent thinking I might be declared ineligible, right?
And in this world, it's needed, right?
And that type of acumen and negotiating and all of those things, that is part of their world.
It's a good thing, but it's definitely way different than when I played.
I think I've gotten, you know, my coach's eyes have kind of taken over any old highlights I watched.
I'm like, I don't even know how I played it down, let alone earn any money, you know?
But I guess that's the coach taking over in me.
Um, you know, I think there's going to be some people out there that, you know, we're going to have, have high praise and good things to say about us.
There's going to be people out there that don't think we're going to be any good and are not going to have nice things to say about us at any point, you know, through the course of this thing.
um, all of that is, is out of my control, out of our control as a football team, as a football program.
And, um, I think that the, the mental toughness and discipline to keep our eyes and minds on what we can control is, is where you create good margins and, and where you create winning margins.
And so, uh, that's what we're going to do.
And, and we're not going to let put, you know, let anybody put any limits on, on what we think we can do or, uh,
