I hated selling for somebody else.
And like just feeling that value creation go to somebody else.
I was like, I know I'm good at what I'm doing.
And I feel like I'm only capturing a teeny tiny portion of it.
And that I didn't enjoy that.
And I also didn't enjoy that.
Like, Hey, congrats.
Like I had one good quarter.
I closed a million and a half in a quarter.
And which was like, I've already hit, like I'm already 150% or whatever it was, or I don't know.
I was a hundred and something percent of quota for the year in Q1.
And by Q3, they were going to fire me.
I was like, guys,
This is like long sales cycles.
I just happened to have everything lined up and a deal came in early.
Otherwise it would have been like half and half and we'd be not stressed about anything.
I'm like, so you're punishing me because I got lucky and some client, like instead of an 18 month sales cycle, it was a seven month sales cycle.
I was like, is that, is that what we're talking about here?
And so it just, I didn't enjoy that side of it.
I like really enjoyed the sales side.
