None of these things are cures.
There's other things that have to go hand side by side.
Behavioural intervention is hugely important.
So for me, it's about like I have a little nest of tables inside the front door of my house.
Anything I need to bring anywhere goes onto that table.
And so when I'm leaving the house, I check the table and everything is there that I need to do.
It's not foolproof, but it helps.
Like putting the things in the phone, you're trying to... And maybe not avoid caffeine drinks and things like that, but that certainly probably doesn't help from the nighttime things and all that sort of stuff.
But just building in little strategies to... Like, say, for example, if you're a kid in school, maybe sitting up the front rather than sitting at the back would help.
Movement breaks definitely help me.
Not so much in hyper focus, but I'm trying to do something that's really challenging to me, taking a break every five minutes to even just go down the floor, do five press ups and get back up.
I can feel that that has helped.
And then obviously there's the family support and education of people around you understanding.
And again, sorry, just that's a really important part is I've been so blessed that I've had colleagues and bosses and people who said, Coleman, you're really good at this.
So do more of this and do less of that.
And the biggest thing for me has been able to
make choices in my life that played to my strengths and didn't.
