If you're smart, you might not just go straight to drawing, you know, if you're capable.

But some people, some people are more at risk.

There's a million different scenarios that can play out in that situation.

And unfortunately for this guy, the worst case scenario played out for him.

But that was a risk he took by bringing a firearm to a rally, a protest.

The guy that negligently discharged it, though, I wonder what was going through his mind.

Because I could tell you right now, I was thinking about it.

I was like, what would I have said in that moment to make sure that it didn't go sideways like it did?

If I'm holding this firearm in my hand and it goes off, whether I have input or not, the first thing that comes to my mind is don't shoot, don't shoot, don't shoot.

That was a negligent discharge.

Right.

So that's the first thing that goes to my mind.

And then I was like, but realistically, in that moment, I know what's going to happen.

I'm going to set that thing off and I'm going to go, oh, shit, my bad.

My bad.

I'm in danger.

That's not saving anybody.

That is not saving a soul.

All they're going to hear is my bad and go, oh, it's now worse.

Bang, bang, bang, bang.
