And so there was this perception that Paramount was saying, because you talked to Farrakhan, your show has to go when you had sent them a letter long before saying, I'm ending this show.

They tend to end that way.

Yeah, you go through this stuff.

So they're always good.

But then you realize that.

I think like you, I've always tried to take the attitude.

I was really lucky, just very lucky person that easily could not have come my way.

And I think I'm a hard worker and I think I have some ability, but mostly it's a lot of luck.

And people need to hear that.

Yeah, and trust me, I've made it a life's mission to say you can maximize your chance of getting luck by working really hard and by being a pleasant person to work with,

But this book also makes it clear that you were working so hard and you had all these different arcs before we got to know you.

And I mean, I didn't know anything about the magician stuff.

It made me want to cancel this book.

You know what I love too that's in the book?

The time that you're outside a comedy club and you don't know Eddie Murphy that long.

You guys are just, and you're like hanging out by a parking meter outside the comedy club.

Hadn't met him at all.
