He's really an extraordinary case, as you say, in terms of the way...
It's all played out and he didn't get burned out and he didn't get injured and he didn't lose his motivation.
He's actually enhanced it through all this frustration and in many cases pain.
It's made him stronger.
It made him more aware of what he needed to do and he's so talented he was able to do it at a
what some people say advanced age but i i just he's to me he's not still kind of boyish you know in his in his the ways body moves the way he acts uh... and his his love of the game uh... it was hard to be in him i think all the scrutiny all the criticism the pressure he was put on himself and you know you could just see last year the weight being lifted that you know being lifted off him and then there was this feeling like well maybe he's lost motivation as he had that sort of ambivalent moment there for a couple of months
But he came out of that understanding that, no, no, you know, I'm really, really lucky to have this opportunity now.
And let's just play it to the hilt and really enjoy and bring in my friends and bring in all my life in a way that I didn't do before, perhaps.
I think he feels an obligation to his gift and not in an oppressive way.
I just I think he realized how fortunate he's been to be, you know, to have this extraordinary ability, more ability than others that we've mentioned here.
And these guys were all amazing.
I mean, they all had a certain I wouldn't call it limitation, but but flaw in their game.
And Rory had his flaw.
But Rory.
The flaw he had was one you could work on because, you know, it's really the sort of the bottom work.
I don't know what the right words, the spade work of golf is to have a good short game and be a reliable short putter.
And it's something that if you focus on and you're talented, you can get into your game.
I mean, Rory was never yippy.
he just didn't have very good technique and he hadn't really focused on it and he liked hitting the ball and and doing all those things that you know everybody loves about the game but once he said okay
You know, I, first of all, almost have an obligation to get the most out of this.
