I mean, that acceptance speech, he was really choked up.
And, you know, I know what he... I'm sure you do, too.
I mean, we do appreciate our parents.
Sometimes when it's too late and they're gone, but as you get older, you realize that was not easy.
You know, just the role of being a good parent.
You know, I never appreciated it as much as I do now because they haven't changed.
I mean, they've changed a lot of things, but the bones of the place are the same.
I never used to go up and eat in the clubhouse.
This year, this was my 40th.
I wasn't really counting, but 40 is a lot of years.
And I thought, yeah, if somebody invites me to the clubhouse, I'm going to go up there.
And, you know, it's like going into, like, I remember going to the Tower of London and seeing these little coffins of how small people were, you know, back in whatever, 1200.
And...
There's a little of that at Augusta.
The dimensions are very tight.
And people were smaller.
And we're too big in America, obviously.
But the staircase is not that easy to get down.
And I don't know.
I think there's this real charm in just keeping everything the same.
