It was so like, it was almost intoxicating work to be able to see the growth of it.
And to be fair to Luke, like he never got to, and a lot of people, especially his investors in Colville would say it's a good thing, but he didn't get to fulfill his ambitions with what Bamboo was.
If he had been backed in the way he should have been and given the financing the way he should have been,
Bambi would have became Toast or something along those lines.
Like he had that vision.
No, as in the startup.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's actually what happened.
So COVID came, obviously we were in a very bad situation.
So the company was put into liquidation, which was like, I think right when COVID came, Bamboo was basically like one of the first bigger name liquidations at the time.
We were on the 6-1 News, which in hindsight for a group of little kids in the IFSC in an office,
felt hugely just public and it was felt like obviously a massive failure because you were letting people down but also like we couldn't control COVID right so the company went into liquidation um we all kind of went not our separate ways we were working on bits and pieces together and obviously it's pretty when anything like that happens it's kind of like a debt in the family you've all put so much into it like
But we were doing bits and pieces of consulting here and there, kind of as a group.
Some really talented people have come out of Bamboo as well.
I mean, for a small group of people, there's a lot of success that's come out of the back of it.
And I don't think that's an accident.
We all kind of learned together and grew together.
Well, talent strikes talent.
Honestly, right?
