One thing she's never done is that, to be honest.

There's been a good few times where she could have.

13 years this year she knew you before you were famous she's seen me on the entire journey and kind of backed it like we're very much a team yeah um so yeah she never has thankfully but and if she was ever going to the next thing i tell you it was definitely going to be the time she could hit me uh with that but essentially two investors in the previous iteration of bamboo put together 50 grand to buy it out liquidation but there was no more money than that and like when i say no more money

I made no money.

But there was a ton of clients there.

It could be stood back up.

And I was kind of presented with the opportunity to take it over.

Kind of like a country manager, but in effect, CEO of the thing, right?

But there was no money, which was like, I had to have a conversation with Lisa.

Very quickly, I knew I wanted to do it.

I knew I wanted to do it for a couple of reasons.

We had obviously played for it.

We really cared about the company and the clients and the people that we worked with who in that moment of COVID kind of needed us more than ever.

So I felt a huge obligation to the people which largely I had signed up and I wanted to deliver on the promises that I kind of made to them.
