And no doubt, like actually one of the, one of the investors in the investor in better space today, we've developed a great relationship out of it.

Um, I kind of knew I was never, the mission was never to get rich out of bamboo.

The mission was to be able to unlock the gates, to be able to walk in with better space.

So what was the next step?

The next step was bare space, which takes us to kind of today.

So we're about four years old now.

interestingly the thing about reputational chips is that you don't know you have any at that point so you're hoping what you've done is enough to be able to even have a conversation with somebody like you know i mean me and glenn as i said had had i think it was the around valentine's day 20 21 i think i left bamboo um me and glenn had been talking for years about bear space since we met in 2017 we became really good friends

I was walking through Temple Bar.

One of my friends, Jimmy O'Rourke, his wedding was the next day.

And daylight today, actually, really sunny day.

And I needed a haircut for this wedding.

I was working at Gamma, I think, at the time.

and i looked to my right and there's a tattoo studio in in a temple bar and there's glenn standing and doing a haircut and this thing i think right let's go i remember walking in and i remember sitting in the chair glenn had been had done his training in a pretty successful brand called menspire in the uk and i'll never even forget the consultation first time ever in my life i

that he usually when you're having a consultation with a stylist you're talking through the mirror and he spun me to the side in the chair and spoke to me face to face but I remember like the passion at this point the haircut to me was bang bang we're done like do you know what I mean it wasn't style wasn't really coming into it like do you know Glenn at this stage and he happened to be there or is this your first interaction with him random encounter okay yeah and

He had a consultation.

It was so deep.

And the end product, I'd never seen a haircut like it.

You know what I mean?

Honestly, when he came back to Ireland, there was a period there of about two, three years before he built out his business on the academy and he started teaching people.

He was so far ahead of anybody else in the country.
