You don't quite realize they're bringing their 5,200.
Next thing you look up, you've got four staff.
You're turning over 400, 500 grand a year.
And nowhere along that journey once has anybody taught you anything about HR.
about payments, about that, about inventory management, about anything outside of looking after people.
And fundamentally, you look at salon owners, and I don't say this, I say this with the most amount of respect in the world because I am one.
They're creative at heart.
when it comes to you on your feet, 12, 13 hours a day, banging out colors on a Saturday, someone's came in, you're double booked, you have to fit her in, you didn't get any lunch.
Do you really think you want to sit down for three, four hours that night and do data segmentation to work out what the best marketing campaign is?
So yeah, that's the whole thesis of it.
The whole thesis of that we're building a vertical operating system to take in all of that operational workload and to be able to automate it on behalf of the salon owner.
And yeah, it's going really well.
It was across 2017 to 2021, if I'm honest.
Building and building and building.
And like, look, did we start out wanting to build a vertical operating system?
No, we didn't.

We started out essentially wanting to digitize the mechanics that Glenn had put in place in regards to how he grew his business.
