And that's a pain.
But of course, the key thing on that score, of course, is to pack
with military precision and not be in any way over the limit.
Now, I have to say, I am an excellent packer.
I'm brilliant at it.
All right.
My family, on the other hand, are not so good.
So every time we get to the check-in desk in any airport, no matter where we're going, I put my bag on and it's like four and a half kilos and I'm patting myself on my back.
Then I put my wife's bag on, it's 400 kilos.
Yeah.
And we're being charged thousands of euro extra.
So it all depends on who you are and how good you are at it.
Do you know what?
I don't because I don't need to because I'm so good at the packing.
But I did once years ago for a piece I wrote for the Irish Times.
I got my hands on what was known as a suitcase coat.
And it was this absolutely absurd coat that was basically like a...
Flashers Mac and it had all these different pockets in it.
And the idea is that you'd put all your clothes in the pockets and you'd rock up to the airport and you'd say, my bag's empty because I've got this coat on.
The downsides are you look really, really stupid.
