But maybe that's something like, hey, we'll chat about anything.
Don't bring up Soto.
And that happens.
As people that interview people, it happens all the time.
There's certain things that they tell you they don't want to talk about, and you try to be respectful about it.
But here's the flip side to it.
By addressing it, I always use the same example because I think it's a great one.
You put the fires out.
You control the narrative.
Remember when Andy Pettit was part of the whole steroid scandal?
He stepped right up and he put the fire out.
And he's never really brought up in those conversations because he was like, look, man, I did this X, Y, and Z because I wanted to get back on the field faster.
