You have one prom.

You keep saying that, but you're going to the prom.

So maybe, you know, maybe you're not.

I would probably, I look back and I say, it's about commitment, not competitiveness.

Like you make a commitment to the team.

But you also make a commitment to yourself and your girlfriend.

And, you know, like you said, you live one time.

You have one senior prom.

And some people are like, I didn't even go to my prom.

Back then, dude, as a high school kid, baseball was everything to me.

But you know, this was also everything to me, my high school girlfriend.

I would have found it very hard.

I think you were just horned up.

I still am.

Because my night wasn't that special.

And I had a wonderful high school relationship.

So I'm not downplaying the importance of that either.

Depends on how good you were, too, like I said.

I really think that don't make it sound like it's not like if you're a team that like leaked into the playoffs and you're going to get whooped or, you know, like I said, if you're a scholarship, I don't think there was any way you were telling a 16, 17 year old me to miss a baseball game.
