Yeah, Nathan, this one does go down in the history books with historic numbers.
19.7 inches of snow for New York City.
Now, that's the ninth largest storm on record.
Records for New York City go back to 1869.
Not too much down towards Washington, D.C., but a lot more in the other direction along the I-95 corridor on up towards Boston.
31.8 inches.
inches officially at Boston.
And before you get to Boston along 95, you hit Providence, 38 inches.
That is the highest snowfall total ever recorded in the state of Rhode Island.
And 80 to 85 mile per hour winds were also recorded along the coast.
There is still about a quarter million people without power in portions of Massachusetts, that is, southern sections of Rhode Island, and also down the Jersey Shore.
Wasn't wasn't too bad down there once you got inland.
But right along the shore, there's anywhere from about 15 to 25 inches with power outages continuing down across southern New Jersey.
It's going to be cold today.
No precipitation today.
It will be cold.
Temperatures will be within a few degrees either side of freezing.
That is running about 10 to maybe even 15 degrees below average.
Milder temperatures are expected for the latter portion of this week.
However, it comes at a little bit of a cost.
