And you know where they got the tiebreaker?
In the first few months of the season.
So sometimes that win in October in the NBA really matters.
And you'd be looking at the tiebreak scenarios vastly differently if the Knicks didn't win a game in October against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
So bring that to Yankees-Mariners when you're thinking about it in late September and you really want that one seed.

But keep in mind, my thought on benching Lindor is not about teaching Lindor a lesson.
