I'm going to tell you a story.
And basically the story was Greg Popovich would ream out Tim Duncan in meetings.
Because he knew Tim could take it.
And he knew that the rest of the room would look over and say, whoa.
Yeah, and he wasn't worried about his job.
He wasn't worried about his standing with the team.
He knew he was going to be fine.
Right.
And the same thing with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
So keep that in mind.
I just think this was a missed opportunity.
And I know that's rare in baseball.
I just think it was early in the season.
That's the time to do it, of course.
And early in the game.
And a game that you need to win.
Early in the season is exactly when you want to do it.
Because you're making that message clear to everybody else.
