I'm like talking about the 60s in New York City, high school basketball, Connie Hawkins.
I'm getting them off the โ being so nervous.
But I also watch what they do at practice.
and their attention to detail, the way the kids firmly believe in everything they do.
And the Danny you see on the sideline is nothing like the Danny that runs practice.
Really?
The guy that runs practice is very positive.
The practice is very competitive, but it's a very positive deal.
His deal is just getting better with his relationship with the officials.
If he can conquer that, then that would be the one thing that at times he'll lose it over calls.
As a coach, what happens with people that are dedicated to coaching, we believe really that players and coaches are working at this all the time.
And a referee at the college level is flying in from doing a game the previous night someplace else most of the season.
So you're always looking at guys that you know they aren't investing the same time as players and coaches.
And I think that's why coaches get off on that, because they don't think it's a set of dedication.
It's more of a, what do you call it, it's more of a profession than it is a choice of something you really want to do.

Daddy has a bunch of mentors in college who treat him like a younger brother.
Roger's looking at him.
He feels the same way.
