He knows he's just like
adrenaline-fueled at this point, emotion off the charts.
But, no, he should just walk back a couple steps back, maybe get another piece of gum, have somebody, you know, sip some water, do something.
Well, you know, he's coached for a long time because unlike a lot of these guys, he was a high school coach for a long time.
And he drove the van.
He did all the high school stuff.
So he's at a point now where the hard years when you're driving a van, you're making no money, you're teaching all day, you're taking the kids someplace, and now you drive home to have dinner and repeat the day, you know, Groundhog Day.
Now he's well-paid.
He's in a great place.
His family, you know, his son is on the staff.
His wife's baking cupcakes for the players.
He's in a good place.
Yeah, you know, I coach in high school a long time, as I said.
No regrets.
I think Danny would have regretted it if he went to the pro level because that impact, you know, high school coaches have a big impact on how kids are going to turn out because you get them at 14, 15, they leave you at 18.
You're around them for some influential years.
The college coach continues that process.
And with so many young kids playing in college now, these kids that are one and done,
you want to give them some advice and some direction.
So when they leave, they don't, they're not out in this adult world, totally unprepared.
