And the plays that he makes, no one else in the league is making.
That two-foot area just inside the offensive blue line under pressure to beat somebody one-on-one in that area is highly dangerous, but it's incredibly impactful offensively if he can do it.
And he does it
far more times than he doesn't.
I mean, I heard Nick Saban the other day talk about accountability for players.
Like everybody, a guy turns a puck over, a football player makes a mistake, and there's, you know, a real mantra to kill the guy, get in his face, and, you know,
a bunch of profanity-laced comments to the guy, but you can't coach that way.
And everybody wanted Nick Saban to get rid of this certain player, and he said, I ran into him yesterday.
He's got six kids.
He's CEO of a company.
And even one of your texters said, you know,
Humans have a tendency to focus in on the negatives.
And he's right.
And it's true.
Whether you're a player, a coach, a manager, okay, he does this well.
Let's focus in on what he doesn't do well.
Well, you have to.
I mean, the evolution of people and the way they accept criticism or critiquing, I mean, they're much softer than back in the day.
And I'll give Glenn Saylor a lot of credit.
I mean, where he held people accountable, he wasn't a guy that was going to micromanage the turnovers.
