You ask the question, am I overthinking all of this?
Well, I've got to say, every situation is different, Nicky.
So my suggestion is make a decision sooner rather than later to save time and money and also the stress that is going to be weighing you down.
I guess you'd have a few comments about Nicky there in Adelaide, just sort of weighing the pros and the cons up.
Now, house prices often drop the further you travel from the city along train lines.
This is something we want to talk about this morning.
Suburbs deeper down the line are usually more affordable due to longer commutes and distance from major employment hubs.
PropTrack reported that desirable schools, beaches and lifestyle amenities, they can create exceptions between neighbouring stops.
But try this on for size.
In Melbourne, buyers can save $1.1 million by choosing Caulfield over nearby Melbourne, or $923,000 by opting for Box Hill instead of Mont Albert.
So there's quite a big difference in these neighbourhoods.
And if we take a look at Perth, Dan, where you are, Stirling and Warwick...
have a difference of around $450,000 in their median sale price.
So perhaps just step over what's going on with these price variations where you are and what is causing the big price differences in those suburbs.
Good morning, Craig.
How you doing?
Yeah, I mean, I have to admit we were in this space too.
I think it took us four auctions before we finally bought our first house in Sydney about four years ago.
But we went to three auctions, went into three auctions.
I'd say completely unprepared in terms of realistically understanding how much budget we needed to have or how much stretch our budget, you know, until finally the budget and the auction price kind of coincided and allowed us to finally nab that actual purchase.
