So Michael Cilvain, you can't understate what he's done for the Sharks franchise.
Well, I think you saw, you know, obviously, I think he got physically stronger as the year went on.
And, you know, the Sharks sort of allowed that time to sort of develop through the first half of the regular season, sort of get him in the weight room a little bit more to sort of build up his strength and his conditioning through the first half of the season.
And, you know, towards the second half of the season, I think you saw the game kind of really slow down for Michael Mesa just in terms of his play on the ice.
Maybe he's still obviously not a finished product by any stretch of the imagination right now.
He probably used to play a little bit faster decision-making and things of that nature, but you definitely see the raw tools and what made him the second overall pick last year.
Um, and I think as far as the future goes, I mean, if you got Macklin, so brainy locked in as your one C for years to come, it certainly looks like Michael Mesa, uh, can be your two C for, for several years to here.
So, uh, it starts with pretty set down the middle here for, for at least the next few years.
Obviously Alex Wenberg is another veteran guy who's, uh, just signed a three-year extension.
He'll be here too.
And it's structurally like Zach Austin, Chuck, uh, you know, I think former junior player for the Vancouver, if I'm not mistaken.
And, you know, he's going to be locked in at that, you know, three or four seed down the road, too.
So, Sharks look pretty set down the middle, and certainly Michael Meese is going to be a big part of that.
Really good.
