I think my senses are heightened.

So I know I have a heightened sense of smell.

And obviously with music, there's a heightened sense there.

So I think maybe, but I've never thought of it that way.

I've always thought of it as just another...

access point to each of the characters it's just sort of the character's way of telling me another bit about who they are you know what what calls to them what what uh is part of their dna and and that is another thing that i think just i've sort of discovered along the way because it isn't the same ever i've never worn the same thing for any character

Yes, I would sing and so I'd do laps, then sing and then I'd run and then I would sing.

I just wanted it to be in my body.

You know, it's the idea that if I'm doing something that's strenuous and I can sing it whilst I'm doing the thing that's strenuous, when I'm standing still, it'll just be there.

I won't actually have to work that hard for it to be there.

Let's talk a little bit about where you grew up.

As in singing and speaking?

Yes.

My sister can really sing.

She'll hate me for saying it out loud, but I think she has a beautiful singing voice.
