But Bob, his wife taught Sunday school in Alabama in a little tiny Baptist church.

And he's just a great man, you know.

and we talked you know and he says well i think i've got the guy for you and um and we left the headquarters and and uh there he is norm dony was my one zero and norm had a silver star and seven bronze and uh uh it was his third or fourth tour and and uh bob howard sells dony he says uh

I think I got the man for you, and talked with Norm Dooney.

And some of those guys can take your measure pretty quickly.

They know what you're going to be like, whether you're going to falter in the field and all that stuff.

And he took the measure.

And it was great.

And it was interesting, because he had come from the mailbox, and his wife had sent him a magazine

And the cover of the magazine was men's magazine.

And the cover was Sergeant Doney, six-man Mission Impossible team, drive out and kill 200 VC.

And that was my team leader.

Holy shit.

Yeah.
