You know, local club, I guess that's fair and reasonable.
But then when they merged with the Perth Bears, he accepted one of the nine board seats.
And in doing that, the glass door emerged.

So what we're seeing is James be overtly defensive of his club, the Perth Bears, in recent times.
What we read is that he's quite active behind the scenes on the phone to player agents and some of those things.
He's actually not just a director.
He's infinitely involved.
Well, there's been three or four of those and they've gone longer.
So not to get into the detail of it, but he has shown himself to be incapable of having a reasonable conversation around the Perth Bears early days.
And it is not easy when you haven't been in the, when you cross to the other side of the media narrative, as James Brayshaw went through, as Eddie was the original of doing.
It's a difficult art to find the right line of the balance.
Matthew Lloyd admitted he regrets the year where he went and coached Joe Danaher because he found it too difficult.
You've got to be very, very good at leaving your conflict aside if you do it.
And here's a couple of observations.
James is such a good broadcaster.
