He's cleared that hurdle and he's just proved a point.
But I don't think that structurally the lesson will have been learned.
I think upper management will still be applying ridiculous pressure on him, even though he's just achieved what he has so far.
Yeah, I think there might be something in that, but not just through friendship, through faith, through faith in his ability and their faith in what he brings.
Not just for selfish reasons, but for what he brings to the team that's going to give them a competitive car.
Yeah, I think there's definitely something in that in both Hamilton and Leclerc's case.
Yeah, there's this distinction which should be made between the greatest career and the greatest driver.
They're not the same things.
And I think that's where the debate diverges because let's say...
You had this super driver, there's a mixture of all the best talents that have ever been, a mixture of Hamilton, Verstappen, Senna, Fangio, Jim Clark.
And he arrives and he gets to Formula One and he takes mediocre cars and sets pole positions and wins every single race.
There's no question he's the greatest driver there's ever been.
And then he retires, but he's only got one world championship.
So he's not the greatest driver because this guy's got seven or this guy's got five.
It's just nonsense.
It's about what level do they reach.
And yes, Hamilton is definitely in a contention and in the conversation for who is the greatest driver that there's been.
But he's definitely the driver with the greatest career.
There's no question about that.
But that's not the same thing as he's the greatest driver.
