And they all played multiple sports.
Basketball was definitely one of the primary ones.
The girls all played basketball and softball.
Mike and Joey played basketball, baseball, football.
We used to have a football league in Greenfield back in those days, the Greenfield Cougars.
I honestly don't remember.
That was so long ago.
It doesn't surprise me because Mike was a few years older than I was and more advanced with all that stuff and being such a huge athlete.
And kept meticulous records on players, favorite players.
They tracked all those stats.
So I know him and his brother, Jerry, were big on that.
And they kept track of players.
And everybody had trading cards back in those days.
You had football cards and baseball cards.
But I know they like to keep stats on players.
So that didn't surprise me at all, knowing how much they enjoyed it and kept track of those things.
That was a real tough game for me to watch, Bob.
I was really torn on that one, being a diehard Steelers fan, but also being a bigger McCarthy fan.
I can tell you, my parents were rooting for the Packers all the way.
They were all in on the Packers.
