We all wanted to be Terry Bradshaw and Franco Harris and Lynn Swan and all those guys.
And we all played football in the backyards and wiffle ball in the backyards.
And we used to throw the football from one side of Greenfield Avenue to the other.
I actually broke the bay window in the back of my house.
And it was after my mom had came out
Not once, not twice, but three times, Bob, and told me not to throw the ball against the side of the house.
That sounds familiar.
And 30 seconds later, crash.
Broke the bay window.
I ran.
I ran, yeah, in my infinite 10-year-old wisdom, thinking I was going to get away with it.
I tried to run.
Basketball was one of the big sports.
All the McCarthy kids were really very good athletes.
So not just Mike, but all of them.
