So if you're investing a quid, but you're paying a quid to invest in the first place, you know, it's kind of not really worth it.
But where there is free investing and there's no fees or the low fees, that's when fractional share investing can be really, really worthwhile.
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah.
So I think there's two things there.
There's differentiating between the product and the platform.
So the platforms, the benefits of actually using the platforms themselves.
I mean, number one, the more obvious one is technology, right?
Because a lot of these companies have been built from the ground up with technology in mind.
They are very, very seamless.
You know, you can kind of log on and you actually become a customer.
Typically takes less than 10 minutes.
The usual stuff we've become used to in terms of like, you know, maybe you provide a proof of identity through a passport or proof of address, do a scan of your face, activate, you know, two factor authentication, whatever it is.
And you're kind of you're kind of in just have to like link your bank account and verify that so you can start topping up and investing in terms of the UI, the user interface and how you actually interact with the apps.
I think that's becoming more and more important because one of the things that we're probably going to talk about later on is getting overwhelmed by all the different flashing numbers on screen and all the up and down arrows and all these terminologies.
And I think what a lot of these fintechs are trying to do is they're trying to make it as straightforward for beginner investors as possible to, I suppose, decipher all of this seemingly complex information and get you in the process of actually making your first investment.
And I think a lot of them do that really well.
So the technology is one aspect of it, but probably the biggest and most important aspect is cost.
These kind of online brokerage platforms or investing platforms, as they're often referred, have totally revolutionized what it means to be an investor in 2026.
You know, as I said earlier, like historically, if you were to go with a Davey or a good body, the actual costs of investing or investing in the stock market will be quite high.
