I've watched my friend Toby, founder of Shopify, do this every year.
Toby has this rule that the company has to grow 40% per year.
And if you can't keep up, you become the bottleneck.

He's put more code into his GitHub in the first two months of the year than he did the last year so far.
But here's what most people miss.
