He and Pop, if they had never had to do an interview, they genuinely would have been happier people.

But behind the scenes, the stuff, any time TD would come on the floor at practice, and I happened to be talking to Pop before practice started about who knows what, TD would walk over, and he would just ignore me, and he would go, Poppy, he goes, what does he do again?

What is his job here with the team?

It was an old joke, but he told it about 300 times in five years.

But he has a great sense of humor.

He's still working out.

Pop's doing his rehab still, like four days a week in the practice facility in San Antonio.

TD's with him virtually every single day.

He's an amazing person.

Amazing person.

Tim Duncan is helping Greg Popovich with rehab.

Yep, he's there.

I'm just supporting him.

I don't know that he's actually doing any of the work, but he's there with him every single day.

I remember when the Spurs were going to the NBA Finals, I was there for the Western Conference, and I was trying to get Pop to come up on stage and do an interview, and he kept waving.

Exactly.

He's like, no, I'm not coming up.
