Messi could have made that throw to Manningham.
Not with both feet.
He could have kicked it to Mario Manningham.
He could have done that.
He could have threaded the needle.
Patrick in Nashville.
Hi, Patrick.
What do you have for me?
And I wanted to comment on Paulie's comparison of European soccer to college football.
I think college football should adopt the model that soccer in Europe uses, whereas the clubs, along with paying the players, directly compensate the clubs whose players they buy from.
So big clubs like my Liverpool will still dominate the transfer window, but the smaller clubs they buy from, like Meyer Leverkusen, will not lose their players.
Yeah, Patrick, I brought that up.
I brought that up a couple of times.
If you lose a player, let's say you're the coach at Toledo, and you lose a player to Ohio State, Ohio State should be paying a transfer fee to the smaller schools.
because then it helps them with their athletic budgets.
Ohio State, not going to put a dent in theirs, but if you're taking these players from other schools that want to transfer, it's a transfer fee.
But eventually we're going to be like the Premier League.
You're going to have X number of teams.
They're going to be playing on their own, and then you'll have the rest of college football.
Yes, Todd.
