Democrat Christian Menefee easily won a special election Saturday to win a congressional seat in Texas.

He will assume the seat held by the late Houston Congressman Sylvester Turner, who died nearly 11 months ago.

The win means Republican control of the House will narrow to 218 Republicans, 214 Democrats.

There are also three vacant seats in Congress.

Special elections will be held later this year to fill them.

The 68th Grammy Awards are tonight in Los Angeles, where the music industry will present their awards to the best composers, the artists, and the compositions from the past year.

Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar are competing for the album of the year.
