But then there are artists that are relatively newer, like Alex Warren, who had a big song this summer with Ordinary or Shaboosie last year.
He had the song Tipsy, a bar song.
So there are songs that are breaking through and moments.
But still, it's tougher to be able to even do what Lizzo did back in 2018, 2019 with Truth Hurts.
A lot's changed in five or six years.
And that's one of the powerful things with whether it's sync placements or social media.
It was a couple of years back when that Kate Bush song from the 80s, Running Up That Hill was one of the biggest songs.

So those are sometimes the things that could influence songs making a comeback and be even more popular than current songs.
This is one of those things where it truly does depend on the artist and the nature of the agreements they have and which record labels or partners they have.
Because if we look at things on a fundamental perspective, if you are an artist that is doing it yourself and you have a subscription to a platform like TuneCore or DistroKid that lets you pay money,
you know, a pretty nominal fee in order to upload your music to all platforms.
You can choose which ones you want to put it on, whether you want to put it on Spotify or if you don't want to put it on Apple Music, but you want to put it on Amazon, you have those options.
But things get a little bit more interesting because if you're assigned to a major company and there are certain agreements that they have and certain expectations they have, it can be a little bit tougher to do that.
