So that's what we're looking at right now internationally.
The World Economic Forum, which I am no fan of, but they do have some decent statistics from time to time, says that off the top of my head, about 77, 78 million people in 2019 had what they call acute food insecurity.
Basically, that's starvation.
It's these people are probably going to die or die.
or maybe be saved, but they're absolutely facing starvation.
So we went from 77 million in 2019 to about 100 million last year, and they're thinking it's gonna be north of 140 million this year.
So when you've got that many people worldwide in acute food insecurity, that's an indicator that you've at least got a billion to a billion and a half that are really struggling to find food.
They just aren't quite starving yet.
So those things have great repercussions around the globe.
Like I told you in the email before we get started, this is the macro show.
I don't have a lot of, hey, you're not gonna be able to find green beans anymore type of information.
But there's a lot of big things happening and that's kind of what we'll cover today.
Sure.
Yeah.
Inventory levels is something I think I've mentioned every time I've been on.
Exactly.
So inventory levels right now are worse than they've ever been since the stat began, which I believe was 92, 91, 92 is when Fred, the St.
Louis Fed said,
data site started monitoring US inventory levels.
So now what they monitor is all retail.
