Yes, there was magic, but there was potential for even more magic.

And they had it in them to score a couple of goals and to see this through, just unable to do so in the end.

This is a great barometer for all the Wrexham players.

Because they have an opportunity.

They could even do it this year.

They're in a position, I think, where they're going to be in the playoffs right now.

You never know, they might go on an incredible run.

And so for the Wrexham players, it's two things.

It's one that, if we do go up...

With a couple of additions, we could compete to stay in the league.

But the real lesson is that as well as you play and as good as you think you've been, the teams in the Premier League will punish you for any little mistake.

Because that's why they lost.

They weren't outplayed by Chelsea.

Chelsea just have that little bit of quality that when the opposition make a mistake, they pounce on it.

And that's the only difference between these two teams today.

Chelsea could win this thing.

They could, yeah.

They could, yeah.

But to be fair to them, they're probably in a list of the eight other teams that are going to be in the next round.
