However, we've heard statements to that effect from Trump in the past.
It's hard to know whether they're bringing us closer to a possible resumption of this war after an almost month-long ceasefire or whether Trump is positioning himself for another round of negotiations.
They appear nowhere close to dealing with the core demands issued by the Americans and by the Israelis in launching this war.
those that would strip Iran of what remains of its nuclear program, specifically stockpiles of enriched uranium and the like.
It's not a full closure.
It is indeed imposing U.S.
military control, U.S.
military might over that waterway.
The question is, will the Iranians rise to this challenge by perhaps
trying to run that blockade or encouraging ships that they deal with to run that blockade, which could actually draw American fire.
What Trump appears to have done now is turn the tables, basically announcing that it's free traffic for all or free traffic for none.
