If I could cross off those things and it's easy and it's legal and everybody in the aftermath, they agree that they shouldn't be there, but they do nothing to prevent it in the first place.
I mean, there could be a path of moderation, but they just have to virtue signal by talking about their sanctuary states and their sanctuary cities.
Pritzker basically admitted that the federal government is in charge of immigration prosecution and the local government is responsible for charging and detaining immigrants.
But isn't there a better way of working together that seems a little less heartless than these reactions?
Yeah, I mean, I think Brandon Johnson's reaction was far worse than J.B.
I mean, he actually seemed like he was sad about what had happened, and Brandon Johnson was on the defensive.
There's, I think, a big opportunity at this particular moment, like both sides, certainly at the extremes, need to have a recalibration of their immigration policy.
So obviously what's going on in blue cities is unacceptable.
We had a whole election that was essentially about that.
I mean, Donald Trump ran up the numbers in deep blue areas because people were saying that blue governance works.
Then in the first year of the Trump administration, we had immigration enforcement, which was also not acceptable to the American public.
I was reading Greg Bovino's big exit interview with The New York Times today, where he was talking about how he had plans to deport 100 million people, et cetera.
That obviously is on the other side of it.
And now we have Tom Homan, who he thinks is an embarrassing capitulator and is someone that has worked for Democratic presidents as well.
