While President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear treaty during his first term, some of our European partners effectively retained sanctions and international inspections took place in 2025.
But then came Israeli and then U.S.
bombings in Iran.
They claim they're ready to talk.
What are our biggest worries there and how might we address them?
Let's move now to North Korea, a country that has no diplomatic relations either with the U.S.
or any of our allies.
How big is their arsenal and is there any hope of getting them to agree in any way to limit their weapons development?
And are there any other nuclear powers we should be worried about?
What about India and Pakistan?
Taking a step back and looking at the prospect of another era of nuclear proliferation, tell me, what's the best case scenario here and what's the worst?
