And so I can be somewhere in the middle.

But also if someone, you know, if someone says, are you really Irish?

I can belt out... You have the credentials.

Yeah.

And what about the Indian side then?

Well, I think it's different because it's Catholic Indian.

So, and because of colonization, the Christian Indian community have English as a first language.

So ironically, more of the ethnic stuff comes from my Irish side.

That's the side that has another language.

That's the side that, my mom's a bit of a hippie as well.

So growing up, I was learning, she was all talking about the old gods and like, it was never St.

Bridget, it was Bridget the goddess.

And we had to, you know,

So it came more from that.

I would say, I mean, I love boxty, but I would say food-wise, the Indian side wins.

I'd say that's fair.

But also I was mainly raised by my mum.

So yeah, the Irish side was always the bigger influence.

I mean, she never really pushed stuff on me, but it just come naturally, I think.
