Thank you very much for joining us here at the Business Pulse Podcast with me, Danny McCall.
And me, Peter O'Dwyer.
For the first time, he's actually been there on time.
He's got to be, though.
Well, listen, we'll be back next week with our next episode.
Until then, thanks for listening.
Bye-bye for now.
Hello and welcome to the Business Post podcast with me, Danny McConnell.
And me, Peter O'Dwyer.
Now, we write a lot in the Business Post and have done a lot since we've come in around infrastructure and I suppose the access to Ireland being an island nation and all that kind of stuff.
Now, largely we've focused in on aviation and we've talked about our air connecting routes.
It's not every day we've talked about our sea and our ports.
And today's guest is a fascinating person.
to give a real insight as to how you actually, how you get a country moving, how you get people on and off an island regularly, consistently, at scale.
Our guest is Nicholas Martinson.
He's the chief executive of Stenaline Group.
He was in Dublin this week for a conference, a kind of resilience conference, I think is what they said, about how to improve that connectivity.
But he made himself available to us and we're very grateful to him for making himself available because I think the interviewers you will hear
gives a very interesting, and I hate to overuse that word, but it gives a very prescient insight to how the logistics of a big, big company like this work.
They have a footprint all over Europe.
