We need a new format.

A format that will land us with the four best teams come all-in semifinals.

And I'm not just saying this now, lads, just because Waterford are struggling in the months of championship.

There's a big obstacle in place and it's the Munster Council with change.

I think Leinster now, there's a realisation in Leinster that they need a bit of help.

They need a form of change if they are to push on and get to the levels of where Cork are at, where Limerick are at, where Tipperary were at last year, where Clare are at.

In previous years, John Boy, I mean, the Leinster teams would, you know, have won all earnings off, let's be honest, but off the back of having an easier pathway, you know, from being in Leinster in contrast to the Munster teams.

from only having to play two games and they push on and win all earns I think there's a realisation now amongst the Leinster counties and Galway now look Galway could tear up the script in two weeks time but I think there's a realisation now within Leinster and within Galway that you know for them to get up to the levels where Cork and the Munster teams are at Limerick and Tipperary they have to be playing them more often

And for that to happen, for the teams to be playing more often, I think you have to strip back the whole thing and tear up the script and do away with both the lengths around Robin and the months around Robin.

there'll be an awful lot of people in Munster who would totally disagree with that.
