And it doesn't fully define you.
Exactly.
Unless you keep rewinding and watching that scene over and over and over again.
Absolutely.
We make two different, different kinds of mistakes.
We ignore it or we wallow in it.
And both are really bad.
What we should be doing is like, oh, wow, this feels crappy.
What is this regret telling me?
And if we treat ourself, you know, the other thing that I would say with a little bit of tough love on this.
Yes.
You got to like any of these regrets.
I mean, I'll be a compassionate person, but you're not that special.
I mean, you know, it's like you tell me about, give me one of these regrets.
It's like, oh, wow, you're the really only person in the world who squandered their money.
Oh, wow, you're the only person in the world who cheated on their, it's like, I got, like, you're not that special.
Like, it's part of the human experience.
You're a human being.
And it's not like you're like, you know, narcissists believe they're singularly excellent, but some of these people are almost reverse narcissists feeling like they're singularly bad.
