Following that World Cup was a very significant boom of players being willing to go to Saudi Arabia and their league.
Now, of course, the finances that they were offering, of course.
Yeah, you know, some insane amount of money, right?
having the World Cup in Qatar kind of opened up players' minds to thinking that, okay, maybe I could do this as part of, you know, where I work day in, day out.
I think the same will happen with MLS, and I hope it happens in a very high-profile scale, maybe for Sporting Kansas City, and it's somebody that,
you know is is thinking about their next stop and in their career thinks about Kansas City that plays for the Netherlands or plays for uh plays for Argentina heck even England even Algeria um over in Lawrence well Algeria's got some high quality players that I think would do great in MLS so um I I think it'd be I I would expect that that boom does eventually come because I think
There's already a bit of that understanding that MLS is a legitimate league happening more so around the top five leagues in Europe.
And I think this will just continue to kind of help sell the life of being a pro soccer player in America to those who maybe didn't see it as that attractive as an option before.
I think the biggest thing is I want to see a like cohesive understanding of the idea that, that was which Mauricio Pochettino wants to play.
I think that's the biggest thing.
I think we've seen it in times and we saw it work kind of in November when they beat Paraguay and then they,
throttled Uruguay 5-1, which was kind of a stunning result considering that none of the main players were playing with the national team in that one.
And so my biggest thing is the system that they have.
Is that going to actually work when we get the main players into it?
We haven't had a ton of opportunities to see it.
