That's the question.

The biggest question is, has he really matured?

Because we really haven't gotten to see him play a whole lot.

He's been injured.

He's been in and out of teams for the last couple of years.

He didn't play a whole lot on loan.

He did not play more than 60 minutes or more than half of a game, more than six times this entire season for a team that was in a relegation paddle in Germany.

And so I think that's where you look at it and you say, hmm, I don't know, but the talent is there.

If he is in the right mindset, I think he can contribute.

And

I think we've seen him in the role that Pochettino wants him to play for this team be successful, too.

And I think that's the interesting thing is a lot of these guys that have been called in, we've seen legitimate success in terms of goals, production.

results and matches in the way that Pochettino kind of has kind of envisioned this team playing.

And Reina has done that.

And I think he's a guy that, you know, kind of Pochettino made a comment of Giovanni Reina playing a defensive midfielder.

Well,

I guess that might be what he calls whatever the two midfielders are, but he's not going to be the true defensive tackle you get in the gritty work kind of midfielder.

He's going to be the guy that's going to operate and can play from deep.

He knows how to pass and move.

He's very comfortable on the ball.
