I graduated and worked as a veterinary technician for about a year before deciding to pursue what I had wanted to do, which was wildlife conservation.

And that came in the form of moving from New Hampshire to Colorado to pursue an internship in wolf conservation. And at first, my family was like, oh God, like why? At first, first, I wanted to do big cat conservation and did some working internships with big cats and tigers and lions. And my mom was supportive, but I could tell she was like, God, why?
