The Tigers are just bad.

I mean, their outs that they make on the base pass, and I don't know if they're being aggressive or dumb or whatever.

Probably both.

But the problem with the Royals' base running is you barely get on base.

Don't make outs on the bases.

And the Tigers are a better hitting team than the Royals, but they can't find a way to win either.

If you go down and look at the Royals draft picks and what they're doing in the minor leagues, it is just not good either.

That's the problem.

I mean, listen, Bobby Witt is a home run.

He was a high pick, and not every high pick is going to be as great as Bobby Witt is.

There's not much besides that.

He's like their one shining moment since, you know, Hosmer and Roos and all those guys because they haven't had a lot of good draft picks since then.

No, they were fine.

They were good players.

You play 10 years in a league, that's great, but they weren't Bobby Witt.

Yeah.

You know, listen, Billy Butler was a fine player.

Alice Gordon was a fine player.

Eric Hosmer was a fine player.

They were all good players, and when you have those guys all playing good together, that's great.
