I've held on to that.
Dad, do you realise what I've done and the people I've said and the things I've missed out on?
Anyway, that's kind of what The Man Who Can't Be Moved is about, is that longing for the person that I went and I said, no, because my dad told me this kind of vibe and I was like, you know, fell it through and that song got me through, yeah, got me through going from, you know, where I was in Dublin then to like put a roof over my head and put clothes on my back, you know?
Yeah.
I meant to say that in the podcast.
No, that's amazing.
It was the song that I sung.
It was my first song.
I remember being a song.
And I was like, you know, and then I watched the Monkees and I used to love Mickey Dolenz, the drummer.
And then I bought, that was the first one with my own pocket money.
I went into town and I bought that.
And I also bought Ah Ha.
Take On Me.
And I had the cassette of both of them and I played the two of them and I just sing them until I fell asleep.
Yeah, it was kick-ass.
I've been listening a lot to Starry Starry Night by Don McLean.
it's just a beautifully, one of the most beautifully well-written songs.
And it deals with what we're talking about is like, is the madness of creativity and the madness of going to the well to experience what it's like to be a human and to go in and try and pull it back out again.
And sometimes your friends are there to pull you in.
