And then, like, you know yourself in music, you get paid maybe in January and then you don't see something until April.

And then it's like you get five grand that then pays the bills for a while.

Then you beg, borrow and steal until your next big thing.

Telling everybody you're doing brilliance, calling the home, that kind of vibe.

And then I thought, you know, if you really want to do well,

and make it, why not try LA, you know?

And you moved to LA and then we got signed by Zamba.

In LA, just from the My Town days, all of those people that we'd worked with, I'd always kept in contact with, because I'm, you know, a student of the game like yourself, always really wanted to know, you know, who's produced this, what's going on.

And I was just kind of, like I said, just touting myself out.

And I was doing vocal production one day, playing bass on a song another day,

Got my name in some interesting places.

I played guitar on a TLC tune.

We ended up getting signed when I was 28.

Wow.

So I was like absolutely completely washed up pop star getting signed at 28, right?

Yeah.

And then before you know it, it's nearly 15 years or it's nearly 18 years now.

It's nearly 20 years now.

And there's kind of breaks that you have in between it to look back on and go...

well what did I do during that time you know there's like I remember you said on one of your podcasts you're like there's what days you don't remember there's some years I don't remember in my life I'm like I totally am on the same page because I think what people forget is around that time 2008
