Because if you look at now that 50% of our electricity in this country for the last four months has been generated from renewable sources is double what it was only 10 years ago.
And it's far short of the time.

Okay, 50% now.
So what I'm saying to you is we're certainly going in the right direction.
Sorry, but in relation to the target of 51%, I've been really clear with that.
Not just on the basis of this report, I've said it in the DΓ‘il, but that doesn't diminish the economic imperative and the climate imperative of us working towards and meeting those targets.
And if that's 2031 or 2032, that will still be very good work.
And then we've got to work towards 2040 targets as well.
Because this is good for our country, it's good for our economy, that we can reduce the dependence on imported fossil fuel
Generate our own energy, have an electric fleet of cars where people will be able to drive for much cheaper than they can, electrifying our transport fleet and big projects like Metrolink, for example, like the expansion of DART as well.
Well, Metrolink is going to be a generational project that is a decarbonising project, that is a societal project and a good transport project.
That's going to start next year, David.
Take a generation to implement.
